Bester Family Wines - Prämiertes Weingut in Südafrikas Swartland Region

Weingut Bester Family Wines
Under the direction of owner and winemaker Zakkie Bester, the family-run Swartland winery Bester Family Wines is creating the limited and award-winning wine portfolio consisting of the two wines Bester Barbera and Bester Chenin Blanc.
The Swartland is a region of the Western Cape Province, which begins about 50 kilometres north of Cape Town and consists of the area between the cities of Malmesbury in the south, Darling in the west, Piketberg in the north and Riebeek Kasteel in the east. Traditionally, the Swartland was an area where mainly wheat was planted. Today, this picturesque region of South Africa is an integral part of the world stage thanks to its first-class wine craftsmanship.
Winemaker Zakkie Bester, a proud Swartlander with ancestors who settled in Malmesbury in the 17th century, is a well-known figure on the wine scene and knows the region, its winegrowers and growing areas like the back of his hand - a profound and intimate know-how that is wonderfully incorporated into the elegant and handcrafted wines of the winery and promises enjoyment of the finest.
Bester's wines stand for uncomplicated, yet high quality enjoyment, convincing both beginners and discerning wine connoisseurs alike.
