Weingut Eikendal
Eikendal's innovative winemaker Maryke Botha focuses on classic grape varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot and of course the winery's flagship, the Cuvée Eikendal Classique in Bordeaux style.
Eikendal's vineyards are located in the so-called "golden triangle" of the Cape Winelands, where vines thrive in a mountainous and maritime climate - the ideal location for the production of world-class wines.
The 76-hectare estate has been owned by the Swiss Saager family since 1981, who recognized the immense potential of the site, replanted the vineyards, and modernized the winery.
Numerous awards and recognitions on a worldwide scale bear witness to the first-class quality of Eikendal's wines. They are a one-to-one reflection of the magnificent terroir of the Helderberg area, which brings wonderful structure, elegance and finesse to the wines.
