Blandy´s Bual 10 Years Old Medium Rich Madeira

The grapes were harvested by hand and fermented at temperatures between 18° C - 21° C in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with natural yeast. After about 48 hours, when the desired sweetness is reached, the fermentation is interrupted by adding brandy. The wine is aged in the traditional 'canteiro' system in American oak barrels where the wine is slightly warmed and moved over the years from the upper floor to the middle floor and finally to the ground floor where it is cooler and allowed to mature further until eventual bottling and release.
