The first historical records date back to 1685, the first owner was the French Huguenot Jean Le Long.

The wide range of Boschendal's first-class wines is divided into six different wine series: ʺClassicsʺ, ʺThe Pavillionʺ, ʺ1685ʺ, ʺCap Classiqueʺ, ʺReserve Collectionʺ and ʺCecil John Reserveʺ.

Boschendal's team of cellar masters and oenologists, consisting of JC Bekker, Bertho Van der Westhuizen and Lizelle Gerber, is responsible for Boschendal's wine production and with sparkling passion, demanding standards and a great deal of expertise, it is regularly honoured for its top wines with prizes and awards.
