Kleine Zalze Vineyard Selection Chardonnay 2024

After harvesting, the grapes were pressed with great care after extensive contact with the skin, using only the free flowing juice for further production. After a 24-hour resting phase, the juice was mixed with selected yeasts and the following day, at a cool-regulated temperature, it was filled into French oak barrels for fermentation. After fermentation, the wine matured for a further 8 months in barrels, of which 60% was first-fermented new wood and 40% second and third-fermented 400 litres of oak barrels.
