Lanzerac Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

The grapes were hand-sorted with great care after harvesting and then completely destemmed, after which the individual berries were subjected to a second selection by hand and then lightly crushed. Fermentation took place with regular pumping over in stainless steel tanks to extract maximum color and aromas. Once fermentation was complete, a portion of the wine remained on the skins for two to three weeks before the skins were pressed off. The wine was then transferred to a combination of new, second, as well as third-filled French barriques, where, after completing malolactic fermentation, it spent its 18 months of aging before being bottled.
