Meerhof Wine Cellar - Preisgekröntes Weingut in Swartland, Südafrika

Weingut Meerhof Wine Cellar
Meerhof Wines is located between Malmesbury and Riebeek Kasteel in the heart of the picturesque Swartland region, where the owners Koos and Erik Jansen van Rensburg, father and son, in collaboration with winemaker Jaco Brand, produce their extensive portfolio of excellent wines from the region, including grapevine pure wines such as Meerhof Sauvignon Blanc, Meerhof Chardonnay, Meerhof Shiraz and Meerhof Grenache Rosé, as well as a white Swartland cuvée.
Meerhof...the name itself conjures up images of endless rows of ripe vines, gently caressed by the everlasting sunshine of the idyllic Riebeek Valley. Named after explorer and adventurer Pieter van Meerhof, who reached the Cape from Denmark around 1660 and discovered the fertile Riebeek Valley, Meerhof produces world-class wines in this excellent climate with outstanding soil conditions and considerable expertise.
Meerhof is proud of its Fairtrade certification and all wines are produced here in such a natural way with minimal interference in the natural vinification processes. The addition of commercial yeasts and other additives is also completely avoided. Wine craftsmanship with heart and soul, which pampers and convinces wine lovers beyond the borders.
