Treatment in the cellar

Vinification took place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature between 26 and 28°C. This Porto matured for 4 years in old French oak barrels before the different grape varieties were cut and bottled. After that the wine rested for another 2 years, therefore "Late Bottled Vintage" in huge 30 year old wooden barrels which do not give the wine a wooden taste because of their age.
