AA Badenhorst Secateurs Chenin Blanc 2025

The grapes for this Chenin Blanc were harvested by hand with great care and stored overnight in the refrigerator. The following day the grapes were pressed all over the bunch and left to rest in the tank. The grapes were harvested over a period of 12 days, meaning that fresh juice was added to the already fermenting juice every day, which extended the alcoholic fermentation process by a good 20 days. A small portion of the juice was fermented in French oak. The wine was left on the lees for 7 months before being bottled with occasional stirring of the yeast.
