De Krans Garden Route Sauvignon Blanc 2025

The grapes for De Krans Garden Route Sauvignon Blanc were harvested in the early hours of the morning in order to transport the berries to the winery as cool as possible. The berries were handled with the utmost care and the selection process was carried out by hand with a great deal of know-how and care. In the winery, the grapes were destemmed and lightly crushed, after which they were allowed to rest on the skin in a closed tank until the next day. The free flowing juice was separated from the grapes and additional juice was obtained by further light pressing. The fermentation process was carried out at cool, controlled temperatures and lasted one month. Finally, the juice was left on the yeast for another 6 months before being bottled for consumption.
