Chardonnay ist eine weiße Rebsorte, mit hohem Bekanntheitsgrad, wohl kaum eine andere hat es weltweit zu solcher Berühmtheit geschafft.

Ihr Siegeszug fing in Frankreich an, alle großen weißen Franzosen und natürlich auch der Champagner sind Chardonnay lastig. Diese Rebsorte passt sich sehr gut an die äußeren Bedingungen an. In kühleren Regionen bringt sie eher mineralische Töne und Zitrusaromen hervor, in wärmeren Gebieten reicht die Bandbreite von Vanille über troische Aromen bis zu Apfel. Auch im Ausbau, ob im Barrique oder im Stahltank ist sie vielseitig einsetzbar, sie kann sehr elegante und gleichzeitig sehr frische, fruchtige Weine hervorbringen.

Ihr Siegeszug fing in Frankreich an, alle großen weißen Franzosen und natürlich auch der Champagner sind Chardonnay lastig. Diese Rebsorte passt sich sehr gut an die äußeren Bedingungen an. In kühleren Regionen bringt sie eher mineralische Töne und Zitrusaromen hervor, in wärmeren Gebieten reicht die Bandbreite von Vanille über troische Aromen bis zu Apfel.
